Description & Objectives:

Chronic wounds can significantly impact a patient's quality of life and present numerous clinical challenges. Effective management of chronic wounds necessitates proper preparation of the wound bed. Various factors contribute to difficult-to-heal wounds, and the TIMERS concept offers a systematic approach to identifying and addressing these factors.

List 3 physical barriers that may inhibit wound healing.
