No. The program is designed to give you a clear, step-by-step foundation for treatment responsibilities, even if you are new to the role.
This is a certification program. Upon completion, you will be eligible to sit for the Treatment Nurse certifcation exam through the Council of Medical Education and Testing. Once you successfully pass the certification exam you will earn your Certified Treatment Nurse (CTN) CMET certification exam.
You will carry out treatments using a clear, standardized approach, follow provider orders correctly, and document in a way that supports compliance and holds up during survey. This certification shows you have taken the extra step to ensure your practice is consistent, defensible, and aligned with skilled nursing standards.
