Nancy Morgan

RN, BSN, WOC, CWHS

Nancy Morgan is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in wound care education, compliance, and clinical innovation. A proud American Samoan, she leads with the values of faith, family, and service.

As Executive Director of the Academy of Prescribers in Wound Healing (APWH) and founder of Wound Care Professionals (WCP), Nancy advances prescriber competency, regulatory alignment, and defensible documentation while driving national education and compliance standards. She also pioneers AI-supported tools like Wound Coach™, providing real-time clinical and compliance support.

Nancy co-founded the Wound Care Education Institute (WCEI), the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO), and the Wild on Wounds (WOW) Conference, which have certified more than 40,000 clinicians and trained over 150,000 professionals worldwide.

Andrew Marxen

RN, BAN, CWCN, MBA, CWHS

Andrew Marxen is a wound and ostomy specialist with nearly three decades of experience in clinical care, industry leadership, and education. He is the founder of Med City Wound Services, providing consulting, product evaluations, clinical education, and direct patient care. Previously, he held leadership roles with Trio Ostomy Care, Crawford/3M, and ConvaTec, where he developed national training programs, launched new products, and authored numerous abstracts and posters for national conferences. Andrew is WOCN-certified, has presented widely on advanced wound and ostomy care, and continues to shape best practices through research, education, and hands-on innovation.

Melissa Chinchar

RN, IPCO, WCC, CWHS

Melissa brings more than two decades of deep clinical and managerial experience to the wound-care arena. She has worked extensively in long-term care, skilled nursing, and hospice settings, including a ten-year tenure as Director of Nursing in long-term care facilities.

In her current role as Director of Clinical Operations at AmeriWound, Melissa leads the clinical support team and oversees wound-education, compliance, and auditing programs. She ensures that affiliated providers and client facilities stay up to date on emerging wound-care standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Melissa is also a recognized educator and thought-leader in wound care, holding certifications as an Infection Preventionist (IPCO), Wound Care Certified (WCC), and Certified Wound-Healing Specialist (CWHS).

Her expertise and leadership have made her a go-to resource for facilities seeking to elevate wound-care quality, compliance, and staff competency.

Diane Fovozzo

LPN, WCC, WCN-C, CSWD-D, DAPWCA, CDP

Diane brings a broad and deep background in wound care, clinical training, and healthcare education. She currently serves as National Clinical Trainer for Impact Medical.  In this role, she works closely with healthcare providers, wound-care specialists, and medical facilities to deliver education, ensure compliance, and support quality wound-care practices across her region.

Her credentials include Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Wound Care Certified (WCC), Wound Care Nurse-Certified (WCN-C), Certified Surgical Wound Debridement–Debridement (CSWD-D), certification from Dermapraxis Association of Professional Wound Care and Aesthetics (DAPWCA), and Certified Debridement Practitioner (CDP).

Diane is known for strong client relations skills and the ability to partner with diverse clinical teams to improve wound care outcomes.

Tricia Mattimoe

RN

Tricia is a seasoned registered nurse with more than 30 years of nursing experience, now leading Innovative Wound Solutions — a company she founded from the ground up. Under her leadership, Innovative Wound Solutions focuses on advanced wound care and lymphedema support, offering tailored product solutions and patient education rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Tricia is deeply familiar with the clinical and operational complexities of wound management, durable medical equipment (DME), and compliance demands. Her experience spans patient care, DME coordination, wound-clinic work, and overseeing wound care supply and service workflows.

Sally Arrey

BSN, RN, WCC

Sally is a registered nurse with extensive wound-care experience across hospital, long-term care, and community settings. She founded SA Wound Care to prevent avoidable amputations through early identification and proper wound management. She is also an investor in a patented pressure-reduction boot designed to protect high-risk patients.

Sally provides clinical training, facility workshops, and practical education for caregivers and high-risk individuals. Her mission is simple: equip clinicians and families with the knowledge and tools to act early and improve patient outcomes.

Angie Machado

Angie Machado has been in healthcare since 1977 and is a certified wound-care specialist with advanced credentials in diabetic wounds and foot care. She is a faculty instructor with Advanced Health Institute and the Managing Member of A.M. Working LLC, a Kansas BON–licensed continuing-education provider offering consulting, program development, and chart-review services.

Angie has published and presented in the US and internationally, including contributions to SAWC, WoundCon, the Journal of Trauma and Critical Care, and the 7th World Congress in Dubai. Her experience and commitment to education make her a trusted resource in advanced wound care.
