Wound Care Professionals (WCP) is a clinician-led organization dedicated to advancing wound management through practical, evidence-based education and real-world application. Our Legacy
WCP builds on more than two decades of leadership in wound care education. Nancy Morgan, RN, BSN, WCC, DWC, OMS — founder of the original Wound Care Education Institute® and Wild On Wounds® has helped train and certify over 150,000 clinicians since 2000.
Her continued commitment to advancing the field led to the creation of The Academy of Prescribers in Wound Healing (APWH) and Wound Care Professionals, both designed to support the next generation of wound care leaders through collaboration, credentialing, and compliance.
Together, these entities form a connected ecosystem focused on professional growth, clinical excellence, and ethical practice in wound care.
