Is this a certification, or a micro-credential?

This is a micro-credential program. Upon completion, you'll earn a digital certificate and shareable badge. Wound care certification is a separate credentialing process, but this series provides a strong foundation for those interested in pursuing certification in the future.

Does this count toward my continuing education requirements?

The series is approved for 30.0 contact hours by the California Board of Registered Nursing. These contact hours may be applied toward continuing education requirements for nursing license renewal, subject to your state board’s requirements.
